Moody's is an independent economic research firm& reported that the Austin-Round Rock Metropolitan Statistical Area (MSA) is NUMBER 1 in over 400 metropolitan areas tracked by the company's vitality index. According to Sperry Van Ness, in it's 2007 Top 10 Markets to Watch Report, Austin was selected because of it's market's 7.25% rise in rents projected for 2008. Tremendous population growth also plays a large part in their decision. Austin has the largest population growth of any of the markets evaluated in the report. This shows that Austin office markets have some of the greatest potential for income growth based on forecasted trends.

Property Management fees for Multifamily properties in Austin range from about 5% -10% per month, with 7-8% being average. Most properties managers will charge a % of the first month's rent each time there is a new lease (25-75%), and they may charge a fixed fee when there is a renewal
- Property Taxes
Property Taxes are based on the Appraised Value (per the State of Texas) of the Property. Taxes are assessed for the previous year and due in January of the following year. For instance, 2007 Property Taxes are due by January 31, 2008. Our property taxes are based on a $ amount per $100 of appraised value. Example: A property has a tax appraisal of $100,000 and a tax rate of 2.5 - the taxes on this property would be $2500/year.
